Lifting accessories are pieces of equipment that are used to attach the load to lifting equipment, providing a link between the two. The accessories/ lose lifting gear needs to undergo a physical examination and load test as per the recommended standards to ensure safe operation. Upon successful completion of the required test, an inspection report will be provided to indicate compliance with the equipment and machinery with safety requirements and its fitness for use. When the equipment and machinery do not comply with the requirements of the relevant standard, an inspection report shall be issued, the full description as to why the equipment and machinery failed the inspection.
