When we execute a FEED, we are committed to delivering security of cost and schedule alongside designs that are safe, constructible, and operationally efficient. Our FEED track record spans two decades and hundreds of projects, giving us a deep understanding of the challenges and priorities of this vital project phase.

We use data held by both our EPC and operations delivery teams to further drive certainty and predictability. We engage with our construction teams at project outset, designing, ‘right to left’ so that constructability is prioritised throughout the design process.  We use data from our global procurement function to inform our cost estimates, support procurement and provide schedules based on real-time supply and demand.

Operational ‘know how’ drives design

Our operational ‘know how’ as service operator means that operating analysis is based on real data and live operational challenges and we feed this into our recommendations. We design for ‘best fit’, ensuring modifications can be implemented with minimal impact to operations.

Complementing our FEED capability are wider services that support the execution phase, detailed design, procurement, and commissioning support.  Our detailed design experience ensures our FEED deliverables are accurate, mitigating the risk of design changes down the line. We also support the preparation of ITTs and evaluation of EPC bids to help projects progress to the next phase.
